Leigha T. Porter M.Ed

Leigha T. Porter is an accomplished dancer, choreographer, arts educator, and cultural advocate dedicated to preserving and elevating artistic traditions. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of FE Conservatory, a premier training center for young dancers ages 3–18, and the Founder of Parc Village, a multidisciplinary community arts center supporting artists across dance, music, visual art, and storytelling.

Leigha is the co-creator and director of The Creole Nutcracker, a reimagined holiday production celebrating Louisiana’s Creole heritage through classical ballet. Her choreographic work has been presented across the U.S. and internationally, and she is recognized for seamlessly weaving culture, history, and movement into powerful performance experiences.

As Executive Director of Heritage Parc, Leigha leads cultural programming, mentorship initiatives, and scholarship opportunities that expand access to arts education. With over a decade of experience as an educator, a Master’s in Education, and specialized training in Horton and Dunham techniques, Leigha continues to shape the next generation of artists while serving as a dynamic ambassador for arts and culture.
